In the population-representative survey conducted via an online panel, customer satisfaction with apps in the areas of features and performance, usability, and customer service was examined. A number of individual aspects were taken into account, such as quality and usefulness of the functions, value for money, reliability and responsiveness of the app, usability at the start of use, extent and clarity of the content, contact options, as well as responses to inquiries regarding advisory competence and friendliness. Additionally, the willingness of users to recommend was included in the result. Respondents could only rate those apps that they had used in the last twelve months. There were 23,297 customer judgments. The final analysis included 344 apps that had achieved a sufficiently high number of ratings in the survey.
