In detail, Shell introduces two tailored models: the Profi tariff and the Business tariff. The Profi tariff targets drivers of electric vehicles who frequently charge on the road and expect particularly attractive per-kWh prices. The Business tariff is ideal for companies whose vehicles are charged predominantly at their own site and who charge only occasionally on the road – with a focus on low base charges.

Contract partners also benefit from attractive advantages for conventional fuels – including discounts on diesel and gasoline at Shell stations as well as with our partners. In addition, there are further discounts on services such as the CarWash program or lubricant products.

"With the new models, we want to make it easier for taxi and car rental companies to switch to electric mobility and, at the same time, offer attractive solutions for the traditional fleet," says Melanie Falkenstern, Head of Shell Fleet Solutions DACH.

Customers benefit from an easy-to-use handling as well as flexible payment options – whether via the Shell App, with a charging card, or contactless. Business customers – such as taxi operators – also have access to the Shell Card, which allows them not only to charge electricity but also to continue refueling. Electric vehicle drivers can use the Shell Card to charge at more than 195,000 public charging points in Germany.

Shell continues to invest in expanding its Shell Recharge ultra-fast charging network. With currently 1,900 Recharge fast charging points in Germany, the company offers nationwide coverage for electric vehicles – ideal for taxi and rental car companies that are betting on electromobility.
