New talent at opta data: training begins in eight professions and degree programmes
On September 1, 2025, 30 young talents began their training at the opta data Group in Essen. Among them are 20 apprentices and ten students in dual-study programs who are starting their careers in various areas of the company.
Broad range of training opportunities
In total, the corporate group offers twelve different apprenticeships and dual-study programs. This year, the offering focuses on six apprenticeships as well as two degree programs.

Focus on IT and commercial occupations
Twelve of the new apprentices have a focus on IT: seven are starting as IT specialists for application development, four as IT specialists for system integration, and one as a management assistant for digitalization management. In the commercial field, three apprentices are training as management assistants in healthcare, four as office management clerks, and one as a management assistant in dialogue marketing. Among the dual-study students, eight have chosen the Business Administration degree program, and a further two Applied Computer Science.
Supporting program for onboarding
At the start of the apprenticeship, the new colleagues go through an orientation week. This includes workshops, training sessions, and getting to know the specialist departments. Throughout the entire apprenticeship period, the trainees are mentored by designated training supervisors.
