Volvo is introducing an 800-volt architecture for the first time in the new ES90 premium sedan. It reduces heat buildup during charging, increases efficiency, and enables significantly shorter charging times. In the future, up to 250 kilometers of range are expected to be added at fast-charging points in around ten minutes. Updates include an enhanced emergency steering function that also works even in the dark, as well as a new generation of Park Pilot Assist that can also handle parallel parking.
