LIQUI MOLY concludes the 2024 financial year with a record turnover of one billion euros.
111,000 tons of oil, 24 million additive cans, and 36 million oil containers: For the Ulm-based lubricant specialist LIQUI MOLY, 2024 was a year full of records and strong development in many company areas, despite numerous challenges.
The balance sheet of the past year is very positive for LIQUI MOLY on several levels.
```“At the beginning of 2024, supply bottlenecks coupled with high demand were still causing us problems. But thanks to our solution-oriented and diligent co-entrepreneurs, things went very well afterwards, and that worldwide,” summarizes Dr. Uli Weller, Commercial Managing Director of LIQUI MOLY.
Revenue Increase from Previous Year
With the new record revenue of 1.03 billion euros, a revenue increase of 12.1 percent was achieved compared to the previous year. The company recorded the highest revenue in its home market of Germany, followed by the USA.
For LIQUI MOLY, the billion is a "magical" performance mark, emphasizes Salvatore Coniglio, who has been part of the management since September 2024:
"We know that this extraordinary success is due to our now nearly 1,200 co-entrepreneurs around the world. That is why we have, with full conviction, decided together with the WÜRTH Group to grant a success bonus of up to 7,000 euros for the staff. Everyone absolutely deserves this," adds Coniglio.
Worthwhile Investments
The fact that these performance figures and the positive mood are not a given at the moment is something Managing Director Günter Hiermaier is well aware of:
“We have made extensive investments to expand capacity at our two locations in Ulm and Saarlouis. This has paid off for everyone, as can be seen by our record employment level of 1,200 colleagues. We are glad and very grateful that we are still on a good path and established as a very good and secure employer”.
The billion-euro revenue mark is an important strategic milestone for LIQUI MOLY and at the same time a great incentive. The globally operating full-range supplier of automotive chemicals will consistently continue to pursue its ambitions for international success.
