Hello Taxi!: New Chairman of the Supervisory Board Michael Frenzel Takes Over from Predecessor Johann Pape
The new chairman of the supervisory board, Michael Frenzel, is 63 years old, married, has two adult children, and has been active in the taxi industry of the state capital Hannover since 1984. In particular, his long-standing independence and his over twenty years of continuous representation of business policies, among other roles as chairman of the specialist group in the Gesamtverband Verkehrsgewerbe Niedersachsen (GVN), as a member of the plenary assembly of the IHK Hannover and the DIHK transport committee, as well as his network
with administration and politics, enable him to respond to the current special challenges of the taxi industry.
Since 2010, he has been the chairman of the board of the Hannoversche Funk Taxi Zentrale e.G., which, along with the Funk-Taxi-Ruf Hannover GmbH, is one of the two companies that have formed the "Hallo Taxi 3811 GmbH" together since 1998.
Preserve and Lead into the Future
In addition to his professional activity, Michael Frenzel has also been active in club sports on a voluntary basis for many years. As a scuba and freediver, his second home is the water.
```“For me and the members of the Supervisory Board, the most important goal is to preserve Hallo Taxi 3811 and thus our headquarters in order to continue representing the added value for all our customers. We are currently facing particularly great challenges. The taxi industry must defend itself against competitors who act unfairly - indeed, in some cases demonstrably illegally - and in the end do not pay taxes and social contributions locally. We hope that our relevant indications are heard by the regulatory authorities and the politicians, and we rely on more understanding and the urgently needed support,” says Michael Frenzel.
Fundamentally, he remains confident in overcoming the challenges. "We have two experienced and dedicated managing directors in Wolfgang Pettau and Sven-Marcus Fürst, who do excellent work with their employees. Additionally, my colleagues and the supervisory board will be supportive," he adds to his statement.
In "Hallo Taxi 3811 GmbH," around 220 entrepreneurs are organized, who in turn recruit more than 520 taxis with approximately 2,600 employees in Hanover. "Hallo Taxi 3811 GmbH" is thus the largest taxi dispatch center in Lower Saxony.
