TMV will strengthen rental-car inspections with digital methods.
The Taxi and Rental Car Association Germany (TMV) is calling for an expansion of the transport company database to cover the entire passenger transport sector. TMV President Thomas Kroker and Office Manager Nico Höttges discussed this in Berlin with Henning Rehbaum. The CDU member of the Bundestag is the deputy chair of the Transport Committee. The TMV also handed two documents outlining its political demands to the member of the Bundestag. These included a position paper on the amendment of the Passenger Transport Act, the Regulation on the operation of motor vehicle companies in passenger transport and the Professional Entry Regulation for road passenger transport as well as the association's statement on the draft bill for a cash-register requirement.
