According to preliminary figures, revenue shrank by 5.5 percent year-on-year to 1.155 billion euros for the whole of 2024, as the company listed in the SDax announced in Maintal on Tuesday.

Less Profit Than Expected

The result before interest and taxes (EBIT), adjusted for special effects, was 92.3 million euros, 5.3 percent below the previous year's figure, while the corresponding margin remained stable at 8.0 percent. However, this was more operating profit than analysts had previously expected.

"To sharpen our profile and realize our growth targets, we want to sell global activities in the water management sector," affirmed CEO Guido Grandi, reiterating the step announced back in November.

Focus on Improvements

In return, the company will do everything to strategically expand its market position, especially in the industrial business, both organically and through acquisitions. In the coming months, the group will consistently continue the sales process as well as its growth initiatives.

Norma will present the detailed figures with the net result and the outlook for the current year on March 31.
