The police consider a letter of confession to be genuine, as a spokeswoman for the Berlin police said. It states that the sabotage is directed against Deutsche Bahn and Tesla.

The state security division of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office responsible for politically motivated crimes took over the investigations.
