UTA Edenred opens up the entire Shell fuel station network in Germany
UTA Edenred has expanded its service station network in Germany and, effective September 1, added 500 additional Shell service stations to its acceptance network. This enables customers of the mobility service provider to refuel cashlessly and use additional services at all approximately 1,950 Shell service stations across Germany.
Access to fuels and services
At the stations, a variety of fuels are available, including diesel, petrol, AdBlue, LNG and HVO100. In addition, UTA customers can purchase lubricants and make use of car wash services.
Third network expansion with Shell in 2025
The expansion in Germany is already the third step this year as part of the cooperation between UTA Edenred and Shell. Previously, the company had added around 270 Shell service stations on the Spanish mainland and the Balearic Islands, as well as more than 500 stations in the United Kingdom, to its network.
Europe-wide acceptance network
UTA Edenred operates a Europe-wide network in 38 countries with over 88,000 acceptance points. In addition to conventional fuels, the offering also includes alternative energy sources such as biodiesel, LNG, CNG and HVO100. In addition, the company offers services for toll processing, workshop and cleaning, parking reservations, as well as intermodal transport. With the UTA eCharge® solution, the service provider is also gradually expanding an offering for e-mobility in Europe.
