Taxi damaged in Lübeck: Woman with a hedgehog attacks a passenger.

In Lübeck, in the night between Saturday and Sunday, there was an incident involving a taxi. According to police, an as-yet unidentified woman around 2:45 a.m. on Kanalstraße first picked up a live hedgehog from the roadway. In the course of events, she is said to have damaged a taxi and slightly injured a 59-year-old passenger. The investigations are ongoing on suspicion of bodily injury and property damage.

Incident after animal rescue

As the police stated, the woman, after picking up the hedgehog, stepped in front of an oncoming taxi. After the driver honked, the unknown woman is said to have repeatedly struck the hood and kicked against a fender. In doing so, damage to the vehicle occurred.

Passenger slightly injured

A 59-year-old passenger got out of the taxi to clarify the situation. In response, the woman attacked the man and slightly injured him. The police did not provide further details about the nature of the injuries.

Subsequently the suspect fled on foot in the direction of Hüxterdamm. A search launched immediately did not lead to her arrest.
