Xpeng Taxi Evening at Auto Grill in Ebersberg near Munich

In the everyday life of a taxi, availability is what counts above all. The Xpeng G6 uses an 800-volt architecture and achieves charging powers of up to 451 kW under optimal conditions. The operation is largely via a central screen with a diagonal of just under 16 inches. Voice control and app connectivity complement the system. Functions such as pre-conditioning can be controlled remotely. Compared with other manufacturers, the menu navigation appears accessible without sacrificing functionality.
Acceleration – clearly faster than any taxi driver will ever need
In the performance version, the G6 accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, the top speed is 202 km/h. For taxi use, these are mere footnotes. More important is the revised tuning: the chassis feels more balanced, the sound insulation improved, the steering more precise. As for consumption, the picture is differentiated. On the highway, around 22 kWh per 100 kilometers were measured; in city traffic the figure is lower.
The development of the taxi variant was carried out in close coordination between the manufacturer, the dealer and the retrofit specialist. The entry price is around €43,600, the Performance version starts at €51,600 – in addition to the costs for the taxi conversion.
